Pingverse Connect ("the App") is provided by Pingverse. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the App.
1. Information We Collect and How It's Used
Pingverse Connect only requests permissions that are necessary for its communication features:

Contacts
Lets you view your phonebook inside the app to easily call or invite friends.
Optional; contact data stays on your device and is not uploaded to our servers.
Network Access
Required to connect you to LiveKit WebRTC servers for real-time communication.
Always on while the app is connected.
Important: We do not collect your messages, call recordings, or media content. Metadata such as session IDs and connection quality may be processed temporarily to maintain call reliability.
2. Data Storage and Security
Audio and video calls are encrypted in transit (DTLS-SRTP) between your device and our media servers. Chat content uses on-device encryption for 1:1 conversations (Early Access).
Pingverse Connect does not record or store your calls.
Any transient connection data is automatically deleted after the session ends.
Access to our backend systems (Pingverse Core) is protected by strong authentication and network security measures.
3. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties.
Limited technical data may be processed by trusted infrastructure providers strictly to deliver the service. These categories include payment processing, telephony carriers, real-time media routing, cloud hosting, push notification delivery, and usage analytics. Each provider is used only as necessary to operate Pingverse Connect.
We comply with lawful requests only when legally required.
4. User Control and Choices
You can revoke camera, microphone, or contacts permissions anytime in your device settings.
You may delete the app to remove all locally stored data.
